Ok, so since the old post about this was on the old roadmap I'm resubmitting it ahah!
Okay, so last time I got a reply that the writers can use the "text post" function to post writings, the issue with that is that if it's just, normal non-connected writings like random poems and stuff it's not so bad. But for someone that writes a book? With chapters and all? It can get messy pretty easily.
So I was suggesting an option to post writings linked to each other, like on Inkitt, where you can create a book or a series of them, and then add individually each chapter with chapter titles and all of that.
When the users read the text, once they get at the bottom of it, they get a "read next chapter" button if there's a next chapter as well as a menu that lets you jump to specific chapters directly. It would be better than just... using the text posts version (that can be more seen as blog post/journals) and manually adding a [NEXT] [FIRST] [PREVIOUS] links as we can see on furafinity and Deviantart.
Inkitt examples are attached to this post for visuals.
